Amir Khan believes beating Devon Alexander opens the door to two potential super fights

Amir Khan has claimed that his next fight with Devon Alexander it can propel at the "next level" to pair illustrious challenge Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao.

Las Vegas December 13 contest between Khan and Alexander is live on Sports.

But Khan considers it a necessary step to cross before he shared a ring with one of the largest true boxing.

"It is a fight that I need to get me to a higher level," he said of the ring. "The great struggles are there for me. I'm at this age now, at my peak, where I'm ready for these big fights.
