Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete is a prolonged break from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, based on the PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII success. It was released on Blu - ray and includes more than thirty minutes of new images. Included with the Japanese version was the first playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII.

Although much of the music in general remains the same, many titles have been modified to accommodate the new scenes, as well as its closest to the music of Final Fantasy VII. In addition, a new song from finale was written, entitled "unharmed", which is exclusive to the Japanese version. the English version plays "Call" instead of "Safe and sound".

Advent Children Complete follows the original plot and storyline of Advent Children - three young men arrive at the city's Edge and seek the remnants of Jenova in order to revive the Sephiroth. Cloud, after having been infected with the deadly disease Geostigma and stand out from his friends and his family, is pulled back in the battle to stop and eventually made Sephiroth face once more.

Compared to the original film, Advent Children Complete includes twenty-six full minutes of new images. The various changes include more scenes with children, including Denzel and the daughter of Moogle, more dialogue with Kadaj and Rufus Shinra to better explain certain plot elements, and some restructured fight scenes. For example, Vincent is visible in his coat when he saved Cloud, the scene with Tseng and Elena in the cave of the North stretches and Tifa takes a more active role in the fight against Bahamut SIN and she is saved by a cloud.

The film also has higher-quality graphics due to the different format, which allows blood and dirt to be included on the characters. The most obvious change in the structure is the climax of the battle of Cloud and Sephiroth, with Zack supporting Cloud finally Sephiroth with Omnislash Version 6. Made new scenes involving Marlene and Denzel, their older voice actors have been replaced and their scenes completely re-recorded.

Note special is the different ending, based on the original short twenty minute film Advent Children is inspired. After the battle with Sephiroth (which also has a different climax), Cloud is attacked by Loz and Yazoo and apparently killed. RIM, ring phones and the unknown speaker tells the children to go to the Church of the sector 5.

There, as in the film original, Cloud is revived and children reveal that they were told to go there by Aerith. After the end credits, the cliff where Zack died appears covered with flowers. Denzel cloud application if the cliff is where someone died, but Cloud corrects him and says "this is where a hero began his journey", and the Buster Sword has been restored and placed in the Church among the flowers.
