Premier League | Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino disagreed with Hull boss Steve Bruce on red card
The coach of Tottenham Mauricio Pochettino disagreed with the opinion of Hull boss Steve Bruce the red card shown to Gaston Ramirez had determined the Spurs to Hull City 2-1 win.
After a poor opening, Pochettino side could have been two or three down before halftime instead of only 1-0 behind after a piledriver to eight minutes of the former midfielder for Tottenham Jake Livermore.
The Argentine refused 50th minute sending-off of Gaston Ramirez had turned the game for the Spurs despite Harry Kane scoring the equalizer 11 minutes later and Christian Eriksen net a winner of last minute.
Pochettino said: "I think that it doesn't have a big impact. In the second half, our attacking play was better than hull. I do not know in the end it would have the same result.
"Hull played very well in the first half, but we tried to change something at half-time and I'm happy because after we showed the character and the right mindset.
"In the second half we created many opportunities. The team has shown a better mentality and attitude.
"I think the most important today is three points. It gives us confidence and I do not know in the coming weeks that we need to improve but the most important thing today is the three points. »
