David Moyes first game with Real Sociedad ends in a draw

Real Sociedad got a 0-0 draw at Deportivo La Coruna in former opener at the Manchester United manager David Moyes for responsible of the team.
Moyes has been appointed by the Sociedad 12 days ago, and his team looked well organized throughout a match pretty scrappy at the Estadio Riazor.
The visitors had the best in the first half and ex-arsenal man Carlos Vela had a shot saved by Fabricio dipping before putting the best chance of the first period on the crossbar.
Moyes was also a spectator in a bust up between the two banks, and a member of the technical staff Deportivo was sent subsequently to the pits to take its protests to the referee too far.
Deportivo were much more aggressive after the break and would have been before Pablo Insua had better contact when he met a corner at the far post.
Vela had a last chance to put Sociedad in front, but it pulled into the net on his right foot more low 15 minutes from the end.

And the Sociedad Eñaut Zubikarai keeper then had to be alert seven minutes from the end, does well to keep the low effort of Juan Rodriguez and to ensure this side of Moyes returned to San Sebastian with a point.

51 years Moyes has only just begun to learn the language and mainly had to call an interpreter to communicate with his players.

"Coach asked us more intensity and I think we have demonstrated that in the first half when we created good chances," Sociedad midfielder Sergio Canales said in an interview with Spanish television.
