World Cup: Michael Garcia's report to be examined by FIFA Audit and Compliance Committee
Michael Garcia in the process of bidding for the 2018 and 2022 world cups will be considered by the FIFA President of Audit Committee and compliance.
U.S. Attorney Garcia and Judge Hans - Joachim Eckert issued a statement joint Friday, confirming that the full report 430 pages is passed to businessman Switzerland Domenico Scala.
Scala will then recommend what evidence of the report is forwarded to the Executive Committee of FIFA, which includes the most powerful figures in the sport.
Eckert last week cleared the Russia and of Qatar to host the 2018 and 2022 tournaments respectively, saying that any violation of rule is "very limited".
But Garcia responded by notifying its intention to appeal the FIFA decision and a further twist Tuesday saw FIFA a criminal complaint on "possible misconduct" by individuals under the bids, who also made note of the Declaration on Thursday.
"The President of the judicial Chamber (Eckert) and the President of the Chamber of investigation by the Commission of ethics of FIFA (Garcia) met today to discuss recent developments,", said a FIFA statement.
"Major importance".
"The two presidents agreed that it is important that the Executive Committee of FIFA has the information necessary to assess what steps are necessary, based on the work done by the FIFA Ethics Committee.
"For this purpose, the President of FIFA Audit and Control Committee will receive a full copy of all the reports of the House investigation... to determine how much of that information should be made available to the Executive Committee of FIFA."
"There then take the measures necessary to this end." The presidents also offered to answer any question that the Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Executive Committee could have.
"The Board of inquiry has already opened a number of official cases against individuals as a result of this investigation. The recent referral of reports to the Swiss Federal Prosecutor nor the request addressed to the President of FIFA Audit and Control Committee doesn't interfere with the ongoing proceedings. »
The statement was released a few hours after it was stated that a member of the FIFA Executive Committee had been notified to the Ethics Commission after asking "hard and cash" in Exchange for votes during the bidding for the 2018 and 2022 world cups - but nothing has ever done.
The Murray, an Australian who was on the Committee of ethics of FIFA at the time, reported the request after being informed of it by the people working for the Australia 2022 bid.
Sources with knowledge of the demand for silver cash-for-votes, said the Member of the Executive Committee of FIFA requested 5 million $ to build a sports center - Murray now asked why his report of the incident was not mentioned in the conclusions of ethics j. Eckert.
FA director general Greg Dyke has welcomed the update of FIFA, but it is always passionate for the report to be made available to the public.
He told News HQ: "a third person, have a look it is a good idea, and I think that it is referred to as the Executive Committee of FIFA is a good idea."
"But I still think that the original report by García should be published.
"It is a little more positive than I expected, but I want just the report to the Executive Committee of FIFA and so they decide to publish it, this is why I wrote at the beginning of the week.
"His (Sepp Blatter) response seemed really say 'look, we want to talk to all those who have given up their privacy". We'll talk to those who have given up their privacy very well, but I hope they will also speak to everyone who participates in this masquerade, and in fact they will waive their confidentiality.
"What is interesting, of course, is the people who gave no evidence seems to get away scot free. ''
