Africa Cup of Nations draw
Africa Cup of Nations draw
The draw of the Group was carried out for African Nations Cup the year next in Equatorial Guinea.
Ghana, Algeria, South Africa and Senegal have been put together in Group C, one of the two groups looking very competitive.
The Group meets two former World Cup quarter-finalists Ghana, now coached by Avram Grant and Senegal, Africa ranking Algeria and former winners of the South African Nations Cup.

South Africa finished top of a qualifying Group in which holders Nigeria were eliminated, while Senegal has overtaken record-winners Egypt.

Group D also seems very difficult for an ivory coast alongside Cameroon, Mali and Guinea.

Hosts Equatorial Guinea, who stepped in to replace the Morocco with only two months to prepare for the event of 16 teams, will play the Republic of the Congo, in the opening match of the tournament on 17 January, while Gabon, with which they have co-hosted the final 2012 and 2013 finalists Burkina Faso are the other teams from Group A.

Group B contains 2012 champions Zambia, Tunisia, Cape Verde and the Congo.
