Group of companies of David Beckham remains convinced to put a Major League Soccer franchise in Miami.
The former England captain has outlined plans to introduce a new team to the town of Florida, but so far has seen two sites proposed for a stadium waterfront rejected by local politicians.
Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber has suggested Tuesday that the quest for Beckham in Miami home to the new club "cannot last forever" and that other cities may be more suitable.

But a spokesman in Miami Beckham United said: "the reality is that everything is progressing very well.

"Miami is still first choice of David and it will happen. The fans and the people of Miami are behind us and we hope to announce some new positive and exciting soon."

The MLS will increase to 20 by 2015 teams with the addition of New York City FC and Orlando City FC, followed by Atlanta and a second team of LA-based in 2017.
