Premier League: Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho unconcerned by records
The manager of Chelsea Jose Mourinho insists files are inconsequential, as he looks to claim a rare victory against Newcastle at St James Park.
Mourinho, who has never won the Tyneside, can take unbeaten Blues 24 games with a result against the side of Alan Pardew but is adamant that all that matters is to put points on the Board.
He said: "I'm not looking for records. '' I'm looking for points - the wins and points - and if it is possible at the end of the season, title. I'm not looking for records. I want to just win the next game and thats it.
"I do not know on the registration if you hadn't told me on this subject 20 times." The record I want is to win the Premier League three times with this club. This is the only record I want.
"The only thing that counts for me first League is that I won the title twice. This is all that is important to me.

Mourinho, who confirmed that Costa Diego will return following line up starting his ban for the victory of Wednesday 3-0 against Tottenham, also denied claims the League leaders can fight without suspended midfield anchor man Nemanja Matic.
